How Contact Enrichment Works with Lemontaps

Lemontaps enables businesses to enhance existing contacts with additional information such as business email addresses or phone numbers. Our solution operates in real time by automatically scanning the public web for up-to-date business contact data and verifying them using advanced algorithms. This ensures that the provided information is always current and accurate.

Note: Contact enrichment is currently only available in the individual user view and is not accessible in the admin view.

Note: The contact enrichment feature, badge scanner, and LinkedIn scanner are currently in beta. During this phase, they can be used free of charge. Once the beta phase concludes, this feature will be available as a paid optional add-on.

Contact Enrichment Use Cases

Contact enrichment can be used in the following scenarios:

• When creating a new contact
• When editing an existing contact
• When scanning a badge
• When using the LinkedIn QR code scanner

Possible Enriched Attributes

The following attributes can be enriched regardless of the scenario (new contact, existing contact, badge scanner, LinkedIn scanner):

• Profile picture
• Salutation
• First name
• Last name
• Job title
• Company
• Email
• Phone number
• Website
• LinkedIn URL
• Number of employees
• City
• Country
• Language

Creating and Enriching a New Contact

When creating a new contact, instead of clicking "Save Contact," users can select "Save and Enrich with AI."

Requirements for Enrichment: At least one of the following field combinations must be filled:

• First name + Last name + Company
• First name + Last name + Website
• Email address

After clicking "Save and Enrich with AI," the enrichment process starts in the background. Since this process may take some time, users can continue editing the contact or adding new contacts while waiting.

Once the process is complete, the enriched information will be highlighted in blue. If these fields are edited, the blue marking disappears, indicating manual changes. If no information is found for a contact, an info box will appear notifying the user.

Enriching Existing Contacts

Existing contacts can also be enriched. To do so, users can click the "Enrich" button, which initiates the same background process. Multiple contacts can be enriched simultaneously by selecting multiple contacts and clicking "Enrich with AI." If no data is found for certain contacts, an info box will notify the user.

LinkedIn QR Code Scanner

With the LinkedIn scanner, the profile is extracted via the LinkedIn QR code, automatically triggering the enrichment process to retrieve additional contact details such as phone number or email address.

Badge Scanner

The badge scanner extracts the first name, last name, and company via OCR from the badge. The enrichment process then automatically starts to supplement the contact with additional information such as email and phone number.

1. If I use the business card scanner, will contacts be automatically enriched?

No, the enrichment process is not automatically triggered when using the business card scanner. The contact is initially saved as usual. If desired, users can edit the contact later and click "Enrich with AI" to obtain additional information.

2. What is the difference between a verified and an unverified email?

• Verified Email: 98% deliverability
