Linking Your Lemontaps NFC Business Card to your profile

Modified on Tue, 29 Jul at 4:24 PM

In this article, you'll learn how to correctly link your Lemontaps NFC business card to a user profile – either via smartphone or the management platform.

Why Use a Smartphone?

Especially with wooden cards, laptop cameras may have trouble reading the QR code due to low contrast.
Recommendation: Use your smartphone camera to scan the card – it usually works much more reliably.

Step-by-Step: Linking via Smartphone

1. Scan the QR Code or NFC Card

  • Open the camera app on your smartphone.

  • Point it at the QR code on the card.

  • You will be automatically redirected to the linking page.

2. Choose the Type of Linking

a) Link to Your Own Profile

If you already have a profile:

  • Tap on "Link card to existing profile".

  • After logging in, the card will automatically be assigned to your profile.

If you don’t have a profile yet:

  • Tap on "Create new profile" and follow the steps to set one up.

  • The card will be automatically linked to the new profile once it's created.

b) Link as an Administrator

  • Tap on "Link as Administrator".

  • Select the profile you want to link the card to.

  • Tap "Confirm" to complete the linking process.

Linking via the Management Platform (Admin Access Required)

Admins can also manually assign NFC cards to a user via the platform:

  1. Log in to the Lemontaps Management Platform.

  2. Navigate to: Admin Management > User Profiles > User Overview

  3. Find the desired user.

  4. Click the edit icon (pencil).

  5. Go to the tab "NFC Card" in the top right.

  6. Here, you can add a new card or link an existing one.
