Forgot password and no access to the old Email?

Brief Explanation

If you’ve forgotten your password and no longer have access to the email address associated with your account, you cannot reset your password yourself.
In this case, the next steps depend on whether you use Lemontaps as part of a team or on your own.


First, check: How do you use Lemontaps?

a) I use Lemontaps in a team / organization
→ Continue with “Team or Organization Users”

b) I use Lemontaps on my own (individual user)
→ Continue with “Individual Users”


a) Team or Organization Users

If you are part of an organization, there are two possible scenarios.

Case 1: You are a user, but not an admin

Please contact your admin.

The admin can:

  • update your email address in your user profile, or

  • send you a new invitation

Once your email address has been updated, you can reset your password yourself again.


Case 2: You are an admin and no longer have access yourself

If you are an admin and no longer have access to the registered email address, access cannot be restored automatically.

In this case, please contact Lemontaps Support at:

support@lemontaps.com

Please include the following information:

  • Name of the organization

  • Your full name

  • The email address previously used

  • Your new email address

  • A brief description of the issue

  • The most recent Lemontaps invoice

After successful verification, we will help you restore admin access.


b) Individual Users

If you use Lemontaps on your own and no longer have access to your old email address, please contact Lemontaps Support:

support@lemontaps.com

Please send us the following information:

  • Your full name

  • Your old email address

  • Your new email address

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Your most recent Lemontaps invoice (if available)

After successful verification, we will help you regain access to your account.


Important to Know

For security reasons, an account cannot be restored automatically if there is no access to the registered email address.
Account recovery is always handled manually by our support team.
