In this article, you will find out how to use your NFC business card on different iPhone models.
Newer iPhones: iPhone XR, XS, 11, 12, 13, 14
The new iPhones, iPhone XR and newer, automatically have NFC technology enabled. To share your profile, swipe and touch your Lemontaps NFC card along the top edge until a push notification appears:
Important!
The screen has to be on, the airplane mode has to be off, and the camera has to be closed.
Older iPhones: iPhone 6, 7, 8, X
On older iPhone models (iPhone 6 to X), NFC technology is not automatically activated. The other person must switch on the NFC technology in the control centre. To do this, swipe upwards in the control centre of the smartphone and click on the NFC button. Now swipe the card along the top edge of the iPhone:

Sometimes the NFC widget has to be activated in the settings to appear in the control center. Furthermore the screen has to be on, the airplane mode has to be off and the camera has to be closed.
The tapping with the NFC card requires some training and eventually it will happen that it doesn't work right away. Don't worry, because you have the QR code on the NFC card, which you can use as a backup to share your digital business card. Was this article helpful?
