Company Domain for NFC Card Orders

1. Company Domain for Wooden & Plastic Cards

If you use or plan to use a company domain (e.g., vcard.yourcompany.com instead of lemontaps.com), you can specify it directly in the NFC card order form.
Note: The company domain is a paid add-on.

You have two options:

  1. Provide your company domain during the order (it will be printed on the card)
  2. Do not provide a domain and set it up later

When scanning the NFC card, users immediately see your company domain

When scanning the NFC card, users initially see the Lemontaps domain

When opening the profile, your company domain is shown in the URL

Once your domain is live, users are automatically redirected to your company domain (e.g: vcard.companyname.com)

Note: If your company domain is already live, you can easily find it by opening your digital business card and copying the domain from the URL (e.g., vcard.yourcompany.com).

Important ⚠️

If you print your company domain on the card, it cannot be changed after production.
Otherwise, the digital business card may no longer work.

Domain Not Yet Set Up?

You can already provide your company domain during the order, even if it is not live yet.

Requirements:

  • The domain is aligned with your IT team
  • The domain is available and will be set up exactly as specified
    (otherwise, the digital business card may not work)

If you still need to set up your domain, please refer to the setup guide.

Recommendation 💡:

Order your NFC cards only once your company domain is fully set up and live to avoid changes later.


2. Company Domain for Metal Cards

For metal cards, the company domain is not printed directly on the card by default.

Reason:
The cards are pre-produced with QR codes and cannot be changed afterward.

Customization (e.g., your design) is added later via laser engraving.

If You Use a Company Domain:

  • The QR code on the card contains a Lemontaps URL

  • When opened, it automatically redirects to your company domain

This means users will briefly see the Lemontaps domain before being redirected.

Custom Production with Company Domain

On request, metal cards can also be produced with a QR code pointing directly to your company domain. This is a custom production.

Conditions:

  • Minimum order quantity: approx. 50 cards
  • Delivery time: approx. 8 weeks
  • Additional cost applies

Disadvantages ⚠️:

  • Cards cannot be stored for future reorders
  • Reorders below 50 cards will again use the Lemontaps domain

For this reason, many customers choose the standard Lemontaps QR code to ensure consistency across all employees.
