Overview: SSO & User Provisioning (SCIM)

Lemontaps supports modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) setups to centralize, secure and scale login and user management.
The two core features for this are Single Sign-On (SSO) and User Provisioning via SCIM.

Definition?

IAM (Identity and Access Management)
Your central system for managing identities and access rights, e.g., Entra ID or Okta.

SSO (Single Sign-On)
Users log in to Lemontaps using their existing company credentials.
No separate password is needed—this provides higher convenience and stronger security.

SCIM (User Provisioning)
SCIM automatically creates, updates and removes user accounts in Lemontaps.
Digital business cards are also automatically created and kept up-to-date with current information such as name, role, or department.

Getting Started

Note: Setting up SSO and SCIM usually requires support from your IT department, as configuration changes in the identity provider are needed.

1. Verify your domain

2. Decide on your setup

  • Simplify login only → Set up SSO

  • Automatically manage users → Set up SCIM

  • Combine both → SSO + SCIM

(The order is flexible, but we recommend starting with SSO since it directly affects user login. Provisioning runs in the background and is less visible to users.)
