How do I customize the font on the digital business card?

Want the font in your Lemontaps profile to match your corporate design? No problem! With Lemontaps, you can easily use either pre-installed or custom fonts. This guide walks you through the steps to find the right settings and upload your own fonts.

1. Selecting a pre-installed font

First, navigate to Profile Design → General Design. There you will find the "Font" option.

Lemontaps offers a wide range of fonts, including:

  • System fonts like Arial and Times New Roman
  • Google Fonts
  • Adobe Fonts

Simply select your preferred font and save your changes – it will be automatically applied to your profile.

Important: If you choose a font from Google or Adobe, you may need to update your privacy policy, as these fonts are provided by third parties. A blue info box will notify you whenever you select a Google or Adobe font.

2. Uploading a custom font

Would you like to use your own, unique font? No problem! Just activate the "Use custom font" option.

Here's how it works:

- Assign a name: Give your font an internal name, which will only be visible for your Lemontaps team.

- Upload font files: Upload the required file formats for different font weights. "Normal 400" and "Normal 500" are mandatory (marked with *), the other fonts are not used in the profile currently.

- Use compatible formats: To ensure the best compatibility across browsers, we recommend uploading the following formats:

  • woff2 and woff (recommended for best compatibility)
  • ttf and otf (optional, but less commonly used)

On the right-hand side, you can see which formats have been uploaded. A checkmark indicates that a format is uploaded, while a cross means that the format is not uploaded yet.

3. FAQs

Why can I add font weights other than 400 or 500?

Currently, only these two weights are used in the profile. However, additional weights can be uploaded in advance, when further customization options become available.
