Add & Share Digital Business Card via Wallet

With the Wallet, you can store your digital business card directly on your smartphone and share it anytime using the QR code.
This way, your contact details are always at hand and can be shared within seconds.

Add Your Digital Business Card to Wallet (End User)

In the browser:

  1. Open: https://lemontaps.com/share-profile
  2. Click on “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Add to Google Wallet”
  3. Scan the QR code with your iPhone or Android device
    • The Wallet pass will open automatically
  4. Save the card to your Wallet

You can now open and share it anytime.

Alternatively, you can download the Wallet pass or send it to yourself via email.

In the app:

  1. Open the “Profile” section
  2. Your QR code is displayed directly
  3. Tap “Add to Wallet”

The Wallet pass will be saved automatically.

Add Wallet for Your Team (Admin)

There are two options:
Send Wallet passes via email or download them.

1. Send Wallet via Email

  1. Go to “User Profiles”
  2. Select the desired profiles
  3. Click “Export”
  4. Choose “Send via email – Wallet”

The Wallet email can be configured here (type of Wallet and email text).

Alternatively, you can use the invitation email to initially share the Wallet with users. More information here. 

 

2. Download Wallet Passes

  1. Go to “User Profiles”
  2. Select the desired profiles
  3. Click “Export”
  4. You can now download different Wallet types for the selected users.

Online vs. Offline QR Code

You can define how the QR code in the Wallet behaves. More information in this video.

Online QR code:

  • Opens your Lemontaps profile directly in the browser
  • All content is always up to date
  • Requires an internet connection

Offline QR code:

  • Opens the contact file (vCard) directly
  • If profile information changes, the QR code must be regenerated
  • Works without an internet connection

Customize Wallet Design

In the Wallet configurator, you can define how your Wallet business card is displayed.

Important:

  • Admin rights are required
  • Available only in paid plans

Customizable Features

  • Unit-specific design (overrides possible per unit)
  • Background color
  • Text color
  • Label color
  • Unit name (show or hide)
  • Show or hide logo
  • Show or hide profile picture
  • Show department: Displayed next to the position, separated by “|”

Note:
The logo is taken from the digital business card and cannot currently be configured separately for the Wallet.

Apple Wallet–Specific Settings

  • Display profile picture as round or square
  • Show or hide academic title

Important Limitations

Customization options are limited by Apple and Google:

  • QR code:
    Color is fixed by the system and cannot be changed
    (always black on a white background)
  • Images:
    Custom images such as banners or backgrounds cannot be uploaded
  • Font size:
    Automatically adjusts based on name and position length
    (no manual control possible)
